From eating contest to fireworks, the 9th Annual St. Louis Home Fires BBQ Bash is the largest community festival in Wildwood.
Over 22,000 people will attend this event on Saturday and Sunday, September 28th – 29th.
I suggests that you come when your the hungriest.
Fresh beer, hickory smoke St. Louis ribs, and weekend family fun… that’s a great ending to a busy week.

Olivette On The Go Festival 2012
The City of Olivette is hosting its community-wide festival, “Olivette on the Go,” Sept. 28 through Sept. 30. The event takes place in beautiful Stacy Park on the corner of Olive Boulevard and Old Bonhomme Road.

The festival features live music, food, games and carnival rides. Festival-goers can participate in many activities including a chili cook-off, a 5K run and fun walk, and a bonfire along with many other activities for all ages. Live music entertainment each night by DJ MC Reggie, Erin Bode, and Stone in Love.
The festival hours are:
4 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28
12 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29
8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 30.

Active Military Thank You
One of the Best Saint Louis Restaurants Support The Military
Being an active military member just got a little sweeter. While the temperature starts to climb, more folks will start drinking iced tea. For those in the military they can have free sweet tea with an order of Saint Louis Ribs.
“I’ve been in the business for over ten years and have to say, the military has been a huge part of our success,” claims Anita Matthews, co-founder of Ms. Piggies’ Smokehouse. ”These brave men and women do things most Americans won’t do. They work in conditions that many folks only have seen in the movies. I’m proud to be in a position where I can support our active military members.
Every Saturday, from April 15 to May 15, 2011 active card carrying military members will receive Free Sweet Iced Tea from the Ms. Piggies’ Smokehouse on 10612 Page Avenue in Saint Louis with valid id. For those who live in Saint Charles, they may visit Ms. Piggies’ Smokehouse Express located in New Town at St. Charles and receive a free medium soda instead.
“I’m looking forward to a good turn out every Saturday at our New Town at St. Charles location,” says Matthews. ”If we can find more great businesses to partner with this spring, we would love to do more cross-promotions in community”
